Sipping Baileys by a cosy fire in the mountains	Sitting near a fan, bag of ice on head in the suburbs
Skiing	No skiing or expensive air fares
Good TV shows during the ratings period	Silly season crappy TV
Using intimate moments to keep warm.	Sometimes even too hot for that!
The last of the Autumn leaves falling	Shrivelled, burnt leaves in parched gardens
Drinks to keep you warm	Drinks to make you cold
People usually drive more sensibly	Psychotic driving induced by the heat
No need to water the garden	Don't do it and no garden!
The heating system at work	The cooling system at work
Thinking of work at work	Thinking of how to get cooler at work
Walking along quiet, empty beaches	Going to crowded beaches because you have to.
You can go outside without sunscreen	Sunburn through the ozone hole
Looking forward to Spring skiing in a T shirt	It's how many months away?
Less heat induced car engine preignition	Watch those old carbon deposits glow!
Less annoying teenagers at the movies	School holidays at the movies are terrible!
Annoying teenagers are in school	Annoying teenagers are everywhere!
Busy holiday country highways and towns	Quiet country roads & destinations at my pace
No Bull Ants	BULL ANTS!!!
No annoying flies	Irrespressive blow flies & march flies
No mosquitoes	Plenty of the biting bastards!

And that's just off the top of my head!

Ok, so maybe there are some things good about summer like eating more ice-cream and those occasional good mid 20's days, but there's a lot more cons than pros as far as I'm concerned!
